Life is a series of experiences, each one of which makes us bigger, even though sometimes it is hard to realize this. For the world was built to develop character, and we must learn that the setbacks and grieves which we endure help us in our marsching onward.
HTML/CSS is the first thing I've learned on the web. Since then, I've been updating my knowledge, and I know my way around using html5 and css3.
I'm familiar with Wordpress codex, and have experience in creating themes, adapting themes and plugins and fully managing Wordpress powered websites.
C++ is something I'm comfortable working with. I've written a few projects using C++: simplified multi-threaded OS with time sharing, basic file system with indexed allocation and an emulator for a processor with Von-Neumann architecture.
I'm learning Java, and I would classify my knowlegde as little-above-basic. I've created, as a part of my studies assignment, a simple simulation of a server-client communication based on the principles of concurrent and distributed programming.
During the past three years, I've become familiar with concepts of computer algorithms and algorithmic analysis.
There are other things I've learned over the years. I suggest you check my LinkedIn profile.
Social network, a mix of hacker news, product hunt and reddit. Built with Ruby on Rails, uses MySQL database and Bootstrap.
This is my first Ruby on Rails project, and as such it turned out quite well. You can view the source code on GitHub.
Simplified kernel of a preemptive multithreading operating system. Project for the course Operating Systems 1, held on second year of computer science studies on School Of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade.
Besides helping me understand how an OS works, it helped me to learn more about C++ and improve my debugging skills. You can view the source code on GitHub.
My previous portfolio website, created and released in the summer of 2012. I made it just to practice and improve my knowledge of developing websites, and I also wanted to experiment with one-page websites. Back then, I was pretty pleased how it turned out.
ThemeForest theme I did with bokiftw. It was released in November 2013, and received pretty well.
It was done with think-outside-the-box premisse. I was satisfied with how it turned out, but it wasn't received that well. Maybe it was too avant-garde after all.
